This paper – written by Nick Hagiliassis, Mark Di Marco, Susan Fowler, Stella Koritsas, Marcus Plush - looks at what meaningful co production in Positive Behaviour Support really requires. Practitioner reflections and lived experience insights point to a clear message: co production works best when plans are accessible, communication is flexible, relationships are strong, and each person’s preferences and rights guide the process.

Developed in partnership with the University of Melbourne, the Positive Behaviour Support series includes three micro credentials co developed by Aoife McCann and Alex Kalff from Trellis - Assessment and Planning, PBS Autism Affirming Practice, and Authorised Program Officer - with course delivery supported by Dr Kirsty Fawns. Each course is flexible, practical, and aligned with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework and Practice Standards.
